Mythic Imagination Institute in Atlanta, Georgia, took over the city in June of 2004 by launching Mythic Journeys. A stellar illuminated guest list participated in this pivotal and provocative conference. I performed songs from my show "Black Elk Speaks." This remains one of the most gratifying and humbling experiences in my life. I am returning to Mythic Journeys in 2006 to perform "Shaking Down the Chakras."

Esalen Institute is a unique teaching facility. Formed by request in the 1950s, Esalen brings students and renowned teachers together to share old and new ideas in the field of education, literature, and the arts. My invitation to perform at this oasis came in 2004 for Joseph Campbell’s One-Hundredth Birthday Party, where the song/film “Every Hundred Years” was presented, and I was inducted as a Fellow into the Joseph Campbell Foundation.

Pacifica Graduate Institute is a school for graduate students of Mythology, Psychology, and the studies of Folklore. Pacifica houses the Maria Gambatus and Joseph Campbell Libraries. Following the footsteps from Esalen Institute, also in 2004, Pacifica celebrated Campbell’s One-Hundreth Birthday at the Radisson Suites in Santa Barbara, California, at which the song/film "Every Hundred Years” was presented.

NASA Space Program
Washington DC 1997. Introduced the song “Every Hundred Years.”

I joined the Los Angeles Unified School District in 2005, assisting in the Special Education Area. I brought fellow< artists and authors to the campus for educational programs, which earned the slogan: “Bringing Poetry to the School.”
